Nintendo really has become the "Disney" of video games, in that I absolutely ADORED Nintendo (and Disney) up until I was about 9, but nowadays as an adult, it's hard to see the magic anymore behind all the petty lawsuits and general "big business" vibe of modern Nintendo (and Disney).
Sorry to hear you got the dreaded "cease-and-desist" from Nintendo. So one of your very first attempts at game development was enough for Nintendo to send its ninjas after you, but all those Unreal Engine remakes of Super Mario World, Zelda: Ocarina of Time and Donkey Kong Country that I keep getting recommended to me on YouTube are perfectly safe?
